Yang Wan (b.1992) was born in Changchun. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in oil painting from the China Academy of Art in 2015. She then got her master’s degree from Massachusetts College of Art in 2017. Wan's collectors from all over the world. The physicality of making an art piece, for her, is primarily in the subconscious creative process. She believes art has the potential to inspire and empower, to shape lives and carve soon-to-be-trodden paths. Perception is in sharp focus for her creative working process; painting is an extension of her body. She paints to explore the world. Her works are in permanent collection outcast, CAFA Art Museum Summer, and Copelouzos Family Art Museum.
