This is a 2-hour workshop and beginners guide to analytical methods, critical thinking, and art assessment techniques. You’ll learn the basics of meaning-making (semiotics), what and how to apply formal analysis to visual art, discover the basic steps to art critiquing, participants will develop hands-on art evaluation practice, and will acquire practical methods how to look at art. No previous experience is required.
