There has been much written about coincidence, serendipity,  karma and fate, where we were born, to whom and when, all these define our  life’s journey.

I believe  that I was fated to be in Hong Kong where I have been fortunate enough to spend so many happy creative years.

My paintings are about life stories and encounters. Each day we meet people who offer something from which we can learn. I like to think that other than their physical presence there is an underlying spiritual connection ….my paintings are about these  encounters, sometimes compassionate, other times not so  benign , but nevertheless interesting.

These encounters are what make my stories and in turn my paintings.
